Marshalls has recognised that adopting a sustainable approach across all its operations is the only way that the true benefits of such an approach can be realised and truly improve the company's contribution to society in this arena. This approach means that the impacts of any improvements are significant and wide reaching, and will generate a genuine contribution towards a sustainable approach.

Marshalls is adopting a 'holistic and sustainable' approach to producing environmentally friendly building materials. Individual building products are not what sustainability is about. By adopting this approach across the whole Group, Marshalls' contribution to sustainability will be significant and tangible.

Marshalls' approach is based upon economic development that respects our own staff, our neighbours, the communities in which we operate, as well as our customers. We do this whilst ensuring that we minimise the impact on the environment and do all that is possible to safeguard it for future generations.
