Marshalls Secures its First Order for its new Tegula Machine Lay Concrete Block Paving

Marshalls plc, the UK’s leading hard landscaping transformation company, has secured its first order for its recently introduced Tegula Machine Lay Concrete Block Paving (CBP).

Marshalls plc, the UK’s leading hard landscaping transformation company, has secured its first order for its recently introduced Tegula Machine Lay Concrete Block Paving (CBP). The order is worth in excess of £90,000 and will see the product installed at the new Hampstead Homes Waterside Marina development in Colchester, Essex.

The installation is being carried out by specialist concrete block paving contractors On Level Paving, who will lay approximately 4500 square metres of Tegula Machine Lay at the site.

The innovative Tegula Machine Lay CBP was only introduced by Marshalls towards the end of 2006 and is part of the company’s ever growing portfolio of Machine Lay concrete block paving products.

Steve Attfield, Marshalls Commercial Manager – Machine Lay, said:

“We are really pleased to have secured this first order for Tegula Machine Lay within the first couple of months of launching the product. The move to now lay medium to large areas of concrete block paving by the machine lay processes, in a range of settings, is now being widely recognised within the industry as a quick and efficient method of installation with noteworthy health and safety benefits for the installers.”

Marshalls Tegula Machine Lay comes in a uniquely packaged random course laying pattern. It incorporates 3 sizes per layer and is installed layer by layer. Each layer covers 0.93 square metres and is available in the full Marshalls Tegula colour range.

Marshalls Tegula Machine Lay is a traditional looking concrete sett paving solution, offering a beautiful finish reminiscent of the sandstone and granite setts found in many parts of the country.

It is the paving of choice for conservation areas; the surface texture, colours and pattern have a natural place in the more traditional British streetscape. It also has all the benefits associated with concrete block paving, with the addition that the surface has the extra quality of being aged, complementing the built environment around it.

Marshalls has a unique range of products and expertise that inspire customers and exceed their expectations.
