Driveway Visualiser - frequently asked questions
- A Windows PC, with a processor of at least 1.4GHz and at least 500MB of Memory. Apple Macs are not currently supported.
- A broadband Internet connection
- A screen resolution setting of at least 1024 x 768 pixels
Web browser
The Driveway Visualiser will work with the following web browsers in Windows: Internet Explorer 6 and 7, and Firefox. Javascript must be enabled.
Plugins
You will need to install the Adobe Shockwave plugin (version 11). This is freely available and can be downloaded from www.adobe.com/shockwave/download - for help and advice installing this plugin, visit www.adobe.com/support/shockwave.
You will also need to be able and prepared to install 3 Shockwave add-ons called Xtras, which are required to run the Driveway Visualiser. Don't worry - you don't need to do anything, just accept and allow to install the first time you use the Driveway Visualiser.

To get the best out of the Driveway Visualiser you should use a 17" monitor set to 32 Bit Colour and a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768
To get the best quality graphics use a PC with a separate graphics card of 64mb or above. This will make the products look even better. Please note laptop computers don't often have a separate graphics card.

Driveway Visualiser is a web-based application which enables Marshalls to constantly enhance and update the application and provide free and open access to our customers.
To enable you to save pictures of designs you create in the DV, you will need to use an ftp connection. If you have a software firewall or are behind a corporate firewall you will need to be able to allow your PC to transfer data through ftp. If you're at home simply allow a connection to the Marshalls web server. If you're on a corporate network contact your system administrator for assistance.
If you do not have a firewall and still cannot save a design then try emptying your 'Temporary Internet Files' in your browser options.
