A vacancy has arisen within our Commercial Sales Office, dealing with our Key Contractor customers and Housebuilder accounts utilising account management skills and a proactive sales focus.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proactive sales professional to join us and make a real contribution to our team. The successful individual will deliver exceptional customer service ensuring sales targets are met.

Main Purpose:
As a member of the Key Contractor Team, you are required to proactively develop profitable commercial business opportunities for Marshalls by strategically focusing on designated Key Contractor accounts. Assist in maximising the potential for mutually beneficial and sustainable trading alliances and sales results on individual projects over varying timescales.

Job Responsibilities & Major Activities:
 Internal Sales single point of contact alongside an external representative for an appointed set of Key Contractor & Housebuilder accounts, as well as a variety of potential major projects.
 Use of all available information to guide and manage projects from concept to completion through the administration of confirmed new schemes, Key Account project pipelines and proactive & re-active project tracking.
 Identify and follow up opportunities to offer a maximum range of Marshalls products and services.
 Develop and improve effective relationships with both internal and external customers to grow the business.
 Encourage Contractors to adhere to Marshalls preferred supplier agreements where applicable.
 Establish and maintain a wide knowledge of Marshalls Products, our competitors and our market so that you can deliver quality information to our customers.
 Be aware and promote, when appropriate, the product and service offers provided by Marshalls.
 Know, understand & support your customers business needs i.e. procurement routes.
 Specialist support as agreed and where required.

The ideal applicant will be a highly motivated individual with a tenacious character. Working within a small close knit team including external representatives you will have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. PC literacy and attention to detail are key.
