The Crimestoppers campaign demonstrates that everyone has a role to play in helping to spot and report signs of modern slavery. Due to our industry leading work to tackle modern slavery we have been asked to encourage the wider private sector to play their part. For this we have shared our story both in a podcast and a blog post.

Last year, our entire logistics management team undertook training which helped to spot them and how to report safely. For more information on the training, please watch the video here.

Mick Duthie, Operations Director for Crimestoppers:

“Marshall’s Power of Logistics campaign is a great example of how companies can help educate employees on the signs to spot of modern slavery. By educating your workforce you’ve empowered them to look out for others and ultimately report their concerns. We hope other companies will follow in your footsteps. Together we can help stop modern slavery.”

Nigel Basey, Logistics Director for Marshalls said:

“The economic pressures created by Covid19 makes this more important than ever right now. I want to personally thank our drivers, and the wider transport and logistics team, and let them know that their engagement and vigilance makes a huge difference, both to Marshalls’ own business operations, to victims and to the wider community.”
