20-40mm Piling Aggregate

Our 20–40mm Piling Aggregate is a coarse, free draining stone produced through controlled crushing and screening to deliver a durable, uniformly sized material suitable for specialist ground engineering works.

We supply gritstone aggregate from our Howley Park and Fletcher Bank quarries, offering a hard, silica rich stone with excellent resistance to abrasion, alongside limestone aggregate from our Stainton Quarry, a dense and durable carbonate stone commonly used in heavy construction. Both materials achieve a Los Angeles abrasion value of <40, confirming suitability for demanding applications.

The robust grading and high permeability of this aggregate make it ideal for piling mats, working platforms, ground stabilisation, drainage layers, and other heavy duty construction environments where a strong, stable, and free draining material is required to support piling rigs and heavy plant.

Available for collection or delivery within a 50 mile radius of our Stainton and Fletcher Bank quarries.
