St. Bees Sandstone is a high‑quality natural stone suitable for both domestic and commercial projects. Supplied in masonry and walling grades with typical block weights of 2–12 tonnes, it features a dependable fine to medium grain and a distinctive dark red to plum colouring. Occasional light and dark inclusions add natural character while maintaining a consistent overall texture. This combination of colour, grain and reliability makes St. Bees Sandstone well suited to masonry, walling, detailed carving, architectural features and traditional cladding across a wide range of building styles.

• Customers are welcome to visit the quarry to inspect material and select specific blocks for their project
