Project Brief

retaining wall was required to give access for a road and railway bridge to allow access for the wind farm. Once complete the Griffin Wind farm will have the capacity of 156mw and have 68 wind turbines on site, adding to the 2000mw of renewable generation capacity already operated by SSE and will contribute to their targets of owning and operating 4,000mw of renewable energy capacity in the UK and Ireland by the end of 2013 and reducing the carbon impact of their electricity generation by 50% by 2020 (from 2005/6 levels).

Marshalls Civils and Drainage Solution

Marshalls Civils and Drainage was able to produce and manufacture the specialist precast retaining wall corners and sizes that were required within the time frame given for the project.
