The soakaway rings are manufactured with tongue and groove joints for quick and easy chamber installation and are compliant with relevant regulations, BS EN 1917:2002 and BS 5911-3:2010.
What are the design options?
Available in a range of sizes, Marshalls soakaways are perforated with 75mm holes providing a minimum exfiltration area of 50,000m2 per meter nominal diameter per meter of depth.
Available sizes include 500mm, 750mm and 1000mm depths from 900mm to 3000mm diameter and 750mm and 1000mm depths in 3660mm and 4000mm depths. All soakaway holes are 75mm in diameter.
Chamber rings can be supplied with fixed double steps or integrated ladder system, cut-outs or bases cast in, and Marshalls strip and primer.
Designers and users must ensure they have considered the current requirements for manhole access, as detailed in the Health and Safety Code of Practice, Regulations and Guidance issued by the Health and Safety Executive under the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 and other relevant requirements.
Delivery options
Chamber sections are loaded and delivered chimney fashion. When offloaded they should be laid flat and not positioned on the barrel.
