A flow meter chamber is a chamber built specifically to house a flow meter so that water flow can be measured, monitored, and accessed safely within a drainage management system. It’s a physical structure rather than the meter itself. The chamber provides protection for the flow meter and associated equipment. It also allows for safe access for inspection, calibration, and maintenance. They are commonly found in surface water drainage, SuDS, and attenuation systems.
