Porcelain is a manufactured product, made using natural ingredients and white clay. Once pressed, it is digitally printed before being put into a firing kiln to set. Digital printing (like printers) use ink, meaning subtle differences in tone can vary throughout the production process. We only select the highest quality paving, where the ink is at its most durable, creating the optimum depth of print.
It is extremely rare that we experience genuine colour variation issues from the material we supply. Most issues are related to installation or mixing colour batches or old product with new.
