Andrew Irvin is a Project Specification Manager at Marshalls, where he helps connect architects, landscape designers and specifiers with the company’s Design & Engineering team to deliver practical, buildable and sustainable project solutions. Combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of the design process, Andrew supports customers through CPDs, specification guidance and collaborative problem-solving that helps save time, reduce cost and lower carbon.

Before joining Marshalls, Andrew worked internationally as an architect, contributing to several award-winning projects, including the Bund City Hall Plaza with David Chipperfield Architects. His experience on both the design and manufacturer side gives him a unique perspective on the challenges specifiers face and what architects really need from suppliers today.

Passionate about materiality, digital engagement and design communication, Andrew is particularly interested in how manufacturers can better support architects through inspiring CPDs, intuitive digital tools, and clearer sustainability information. He is a strong advocate for making technical content more accessible, visually engaging and genuinely useful for designers working under increasing commercial and environmental pressures.
