Sales and Specification Specialist
Paul Haggerty is Marshalls’ Protective Street Furniture Specialist, responsible for designing and delivering Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) and security-focused street furniture solutions across the UK and internationally. Since joining Marshalls in 2010, Paul has played a pivotal role in developing the company’s protective street furniture offering, helping create safer public spaces that balance security, compliance and aesthetic appeal.
With experience spanning manufacturing, operations, sales and running his own business, Paul brings a practical, end-to-end understanding of project delivery. His hands-on approach sees him involved from concept through to on-site installation, ensuring projects meet the highest technical, operational and legislative standards. Over the years, he has delivered high-profile schemes including multiple Apple Stores worldwide, as well as major transport and public realm projects across locations including Malta, Lithuania and Abu Dhabi.
Paul works closely with clients, local authorities, security consultants and police stakeholders to integrate compliant HVM solutions seamlessly into public space design. As legislation such as Martyn’s Law continues to reshape the approach to public safety, he is a strong advocate for early-stage engagement, accredited products and collaborative project planning to ensure security measures are effective, unobtrusive and future-ready.
Known for building long-term trusted relationships, Paul is a recognised voice in protective urban design, regularly speaking on the evolution of HVM, best practice in secure public realm delivery, and the growing importance of combining safety, accessibility and placemaking in modern urban environments.
