Mark King

Mark has been a valued part of the Marshalls team since 2015, and currently heads up the pavement engineering team. Within this role, Mark has supported some of the company’s largest-scale projects, including the Birmingham Midlands Metro Alliance and the redevelopment of York central.

All this experience, on top of his previous role as a Technical Advisor, has meant that Mark knows pavement and Marshalls products like the back of his hand - what he doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing! His experience extends beyond the standard world of pavements though, with an added passion for making public spaces more accessible and sustainable in every way.

Career highlight

“I feel such pride in all of the projects I’ve completed, and there’s something so special about visiting a place and thinking “I helped make this happen”. I have this moment every time I visit Victoria Square in Birmingham - it was a major project for the team and I was so happy to see it to completion.”
