As leading UK manufacturers, Marshalls Civils & Drainage and Fowler & Holden have been keeping our roads and highways clear of rainwater for years by designing and manufacturing efficient Combined Kerb and Drainage units for highways and bridge structures alike.

A new joint venture will see the two companies working together to design, manufacture and supply a combined kerb and drainage cast-iron bridge deck solution, under the existing Marshalls Bridge Beany brand, but now offering customers the option of either D400 or E600 units.

As part of this venture, FastFlow will fall into the Bridge Beany range and be designed, manufactured and supplied under the Marshalls banner.

Martyn Turton, National Civils Manager for Marshalls said: “Both Marshalls and Fowler & Holden have a strong reputation for technical expertise and product quality. As UK businesses, we have worked together for many years with shared values, one of the most important of which is sustainability – our Bridge Beany units are made with a majority of recycled materials and manufactured in the UK, where alternatives are generally shipped in from the Far East.”

“This new venture will help enhance our offer to customers with Fowler & Holden’s FastFlow product now falling into our current Bridge Beany range, giving our customers the confidence of Bridge Beany, but with the option of both D400 and E600 loadings.”

“This joint venture allows Marshalls to continue our strategy of delivering sustainable infrastructure, water management and retaining wall solutions and is a great addition to the existing range of drainage products.”
