Using our years of experience and expertise, we have launched a new suite of sustainability CPDs for architects and landscape designers. With two different sustainability topics on offer so far, the content has been designed to provide the latest information and techniques to ensure professionals are creating spaces that are climate resilient and compliant with current standards.

Creating Climate Resilient Spaces
Understand different approaches to fighting climate change in terms of both mitigation and adaptation. Find out how to measure the impact of the projects you create and discuss some of the philosophies, techniques and systems which will help us to create more liveable spaces.

SuDS & Permeable Paving
Learn more about the management of flood risk and how SuDS solutions can help. With a specific focus on permeable paving systems and meeting the requirements of the new British Standard, BS 7533.

Chris Griffiths, Head of Product Sustainability at Marshalls, is a well-established expert on SuDS and has supported the creation of the new programme;
“We know that our customers are committed to creating more sustainable spaces but, with an ever-changing landscape, it can be hard to keep up. We’ve prioritised these specific topics as they’re the ones we’re most commonly asked about, through these sessions we hope to provide clarity and a deeper understanding of how to make projects more sustainable".

The programme is free, each session last around 45 minutes plus questions, and can be delivered either online or in-person. Bookings can be made on our website.
