We’re proud to be a Living Wage employer meaning our people receive the Living Wage, which is an enhancement on the National Minimum Wage. We’re joining businesses across the UK to celebrate the movement’s 20th anniversary this week.

We understand when people feel valued and properly rewarded they live better lives and have better futures, and that’s what we want for our Marshalls people – and quite simply, for us it’s The Marshalls Way of doing business. This is why we pay the real Living Wage, the only rate independently calculated annually, based on the real cost of living.

We believe businesses and organisations should choose to go further than the government minimum. Over half of employees across all Living Wage employers, felt more positive about their workplace once the Living Wage was introduced.

Louise Furness, Group HR Director, explains, “having people who feel valued and properly rewarded allows us to deliver the best for our people, customers, partners and stakeholders. The Living Wage is just one of the investments we make in our people because it not only benefits them, but also our business and society – this is why we’re honoured to join the celebrations this week.”

Our vision is to Create Better Spaces and Futures for Everyone: Socially, Environmentally and Economically. Part of this is ensuring the people who work for us are paid a real Living Wage. A wage that means they can live better lives and have better futures.
