Marshalls is delighted to be an official partner of a new, unique Ripples of Hope Festival – 15th – 19th September - which celebrates the power of each of us to make human rights a reality for all.  Over five days local, national and international voices will delve into pressing issues of Dignity & Justice, Activism & Participation, Arts & Culture, Equity & Equality, and Environment and Planet.

The speaker line-up is fantastic with Hillary Clinton, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kailash Satyarthi and Marcus Rashford MBE leading the charge.  The event will be accessed from around the globe, but firmly rooted in the north, with its hub in Manchester city centre.

The Festival will navigate significant complexities whilst still making it clear how individuals can take direct action in their lives and communities.

The Poetic Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
As well as incorporating a business summit, art exhibition, and weekend and evening events, the Festival has will unveil a powerful new body of poetic work that it has commissioned.  Thirty poets from around the world have created a unique poetic response to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

We're proud to be a part of this event and the change it aims to bring.
