Martyn Coffey, CEO of Marshalls plc, has been named a Supplier Influencer by the Builders Merchant Federation (BMF).
Martyn has been our CEO for over nine years and is joined on the prestigious list by National Sales Manager Victoria Fiddies. At the start of the year, the BMF announced that Nick Sharpe, Managing Director of our domestic business, was also on the list.
Of the nomination, Martyn said:
“I’m very pleased to be nominated as a Supplier Influencer. I want to thank my Exec Team and all staff at Marshalls for their continued hard work, drive, and determination.”
Victoria Fiddies, who works for Marshalls Civils and Drainage, said:
“I’m delighted to learn I’ve been selected as one of the Top 100 Supplier Influencers. I started my career on a Management Trainee Scheme with a Builders’ Merchant over 20 years ago. I’m pleased to say I’m still enjoying the industry, working alongside great people, some of whom have become lifelong friends.”

As CEO for Marshalls plc, Martyn works across the full group which consists of Marshalls Landscape Products, including paving, kerb, edgings, walling and protective street furniture; Marshalls Building Products, featuring drainage and water management solutions, concrete bricks, masonry, mortar, screeds and aggregates; and Marley Roofing Products, a specialist in pitched roof systems who joined the business last year.
Before joining Marshalls, Martyn was the Divisional Chief Executive Officer of BDR Thermea Group BV, a leading manufacturer and distributor of domestic and industrial heating and hot water systems. He is a Non-Executive Director of Eurocell plc and Officer of the Mineral Products Association.
About Victoria Fiddies
Victoria joined Marshalls in April 2020 as a Regional Trading Manager in the domestic side of the business, following thirteen years in various roles at Catnic. During that time, she was chair of the BMF Young Merchants Group. Victoria became National Sales Manager for our Civils and Drainage division in December last year; her priorities include strengthening merchant relationships and making it easier for customers to buy a combined package of materials from across the Marshalls divisions.
