Marshalls Backs Its Register Installers With Heightened Marketing & Business Support

Leading hard landscaping transformation company Marshalls plc has developed a range of marketing materials for its Marshalls Register of Approved Landscape Contractors & Driveways Installer businesses.

The materials which are free of charge to Marshalls Register Members have been produced by the company to maximise business opportunities in there local areas and where they are working.

The launch of this initiative comes in conjunction with the announcement by Marshalls of a new strategic tier in its domestic business. Marshalls has now introduced a brand new team called Installer Development Managers (IDMs) throughout the UK.

Installer Development Managers are skilled sales people tasked exclusively to assist Register Members to develop their business. The IDMs will assist by:

• Increasing the value and margin of your orders

• Selling features and added value products

• Winning business over non registered installers

• Improving business profitability

They will be done through:

• Informing Members of exclusive product offers and promotions

• Keeping them updated on anything new from Marshalls

• Sourcing sales and marketing aids

• Arranging training on products, installation or sales

• Dealing with issues of product availability

• Keeping members informed of Register business or social events

Dave Jessop, Marshalls Register Operations Manager, said:

“The Register Installer marketing materials have been introduced because there’s nothing more powerful than the Members promoting there business to potential customers by ‘seeing them in action’. People are naturally curious. If whilst they are on a project they demonstrate their great installation skills and good customer service there’s a good chance if people are in the market for a driveway or a patio they will give them a call.

“The new door hooks, flyers and post cards facilitate this with the Register Members contact details on the back moving that initial curiosity in to a possible survey & quote for their very own new driveway or patio.”

Although they are not employed by Marshalls, they abide by a strict Code of Installation Practice and are all vetted by a team of nationwide Marshalls assessors. In this way Marshalls ensures that a domestic hard landscaping installation is completed to the highest standards.
